For over 20 years, I’ve worked across the sustainability sector, from architecture to consulting, training, coaching, and business development, helping organisations and professionals turn sustainability ambition into real-world impact.

Why I do this work
During my 12 years at BRE, training thousands of sustainability professionals through BREEAM programmes,
I kept seeing the same pattern: highly skilled experts with the technical knowledge to drive change… yet struggling to gain buy-in, influence decisions, or be heard where it mattered most.
The gap wasn’t expertise. It was human skills: communication, ethical influence, resilience, and the confidence to lead sustainability conversations at the highest level.
So, in 2018, after a major career turning point that pushed me to reinvent my own path, I retrained as a transformational coach and founded Green Gorilla.
My mission became clear: to arm sustainability leaders with the mindset to not burn out, the voice to be heard, and the influence to move sustainability forward.
