Creativity to the service of change
If you are a creative person, you might think your talents are of no use to the big issues we are facing. They might feel frivolous even.
But real change needs everyone, in any capacity they can provide.
You might ask yourself, how can I put my creative abilities to good use then?
There are so many ways that you can combine your existing strengths with your passion for making a difference.
For example, perhaps crocheting the daily temperature of 2024 is a way through which you can connect a little deeper with the climate crisis.
Something like this can be a soothing activity as well as a reflective one.
And if you share it with the world, you can raise awareness. Perhaps teach children about climate in a non-preachy way.
Granted, it's not going to stop Big Oil on its track, but I'm a big advocate of the importance of every little thing.
Just like millionaires tell you every pound counts towards building your fortune, so every action counts towards normalising sustainability.
