Do you want to be more productive and happier?
I just started a Positive Intelligence programme with a famous and respected coach, Shirzad Chamine.
I'll share with you the first learning point of his programme, which will help you be happier and more productive (there is neuroscience proving this, happy to explain more if you fancy it, just hit reply and let me know):
Start your day with a 2-minute focus on a physical sensation, e.g.:
- Your breath's temperature as it comes in and out your nostrils, or the rising and falling sensation in your stomach
- Rubbing two fingers together gently enough to feel the ridges and the sensation of touch
- Closing your eyes and paying attention to the sounds farther away, then the ones closest to you.
Then put a reminder to do one of these "reps" (it can be even just a handful of seconds, it doesn't have to be two minutes) every three hours.
Do more before an important meeting or event.
These very basic, almost silly exercises, have the power (when done regularly throughout the day) to rewire your brain, regulate your nervous system and allow your best thinking to happen in a very short space of time.
Try it!
