Slides: friends or foes?
We all know how painful it is to go to a conference or even just a meeting and suffer through bad slide decks...
However, when the time comes to put together a presentation, we fall into the same trap.
We want to say as much as possible in the shortest amount of time, which means cramming our slides with text and tiny pictures and just adding fact after fact.
So, what can we do to make our presentations - even the science-based ones - more memorable and enjoyable?
I put together a mini online guide (CLICK HERE) based on my own experience of sitting through presentations, from the worst to the best - admittedly, the best are the TED talks that attract millions of views. But we can definitely learn from them!
