I recently came across the concept of life buckets.
Life can be seen as three main categories which we can call the Good Life Buckets (source: The Good Life Project):
- Your vitality bucket, it's about your mind and body. It's about creating the best environment and systems to have a strong and healthy mind and body.
- Your connection bucket. This is about cultivating healthy and fulfilling relationships, including love, friendship, place, spirituality and community.
- Your contribution bucket. It's about your work (whether paid or volunteering). It's about creating a feeling of meaning and satisfaction.
Now, after a pandemic and increasingly worrying climate news, our buckets are depleted.
What small changes and actions can you implement today that can fill your buckets, so that you start feeling more hopeful, healthier and energised?
