If you ever used Trello or Asana, you have used a Kanban board-style system.
Kanban boards are a visual representation of the workflow of a project, invented by the manufacturing industry to track teams' projects, which have gained popularity in recent years in the productivity world.
I would encourage you to consider a Kanban-style system to keep your projects organised, especially if you are a visual learner and want to track the progress of your project - whether on your own or in your team.
In particular, Kanban boards will give you a snapshot of the whole situation at once and will allow you to identify bottleneck situations because you will see how many Work in Progress (WIP) tasks you have at the same time - whether you are using it in your team or for your personal productivity, understanding when you reach capacity is important to prevent overload.
Good news is, you don't need software for this, you can have a pen and paper board on your wall with Post-it notes.
Or, if you can't be asked, feel free to use this Canva template.
